Pensioners

The Office of Hearing Services offers free hearing services to eligible pensioners and veterans. This includes a full analysis of their hearing and a range of devices to suit their hearing rehabilitation needs. The office also administers the provision of hearing services for eligible clients with special needs.

First time applicants

Applications can now be made online or by visiting one of our clinics. To apply, simply download the Medical Certificate Form, take it to your GP for completion and then send it to us.

Free service

A hearing services voucher will entitle you to a comprehensive range of hearing services free of charge. A qualified practitioner will assess your hearing. If hearing aids are required, your practitioner will help you select an appropriate model from a range of quality devices.

Eligible applicants can obtain maintenance of their hearing aids and devices and receive a regular supply of batteries for a small annual maintenance fee.
